Luca's Marinara Sauce



Marinara Sauce

 

INGREDIENTS

 

1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

1 onion, chopped

1 clove garlic, chopped

1 (14.5 ounce) can peeled and diced tomatoes

1/2 teaspoon fresh oregano

1/2 teaspoon fresh parsley

Salt and Pepper

DIRECTIONS

1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic and cook 2 to 4 minutes until crisp-tender, stirring frequently.

2. Mix in plum tomato and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until flavors are blended, stirring frequently.

3. Add in fresh herbs at last minute to add flavor. Add salt and pepper as needed
