Frutta di Bosco
½ pint Strawberries
½ Pint Raspberries
½ Pint Blueberries
½ Pint Blackberries
If the are unavailable substitute with other fresh fruits
2oz Grand Marnier or Blackberry Brandy
2 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
1 Sheet Puff pastry
1 Cup Whipping Cream
3 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
2 Tablespoons Flavored Liquor
-Rinse and de-stem the berries and slice the strawberries
-Add sugar and liquor to the berries and toss lightly and refrigerate
-Using a circle mold, cut the pastry and place on a greased cookie Sheet and bake at 450 Degrees for 7-10 minutes or until golden brown and tall. Set aside
-Using your electric mixer, in a chilled bowl beat the cream until you have soft peaks
-add the liquor and sugar and mix until smooth
Assembly:
In Layers on a chilled plate, place a spoonful of the cream and then half of a pastry tower on the cream.
Add a bit more cream and a generous portion of the berry mixture and then another bit of cream and top off with the other half of the pastry and garnish.
