Gun Shop Display Sparks Controversy.

Merrimack, NH- A gun shop is gaining  a lot of attention for posting two signs in its windows that some feel are controversial.
The first of the two signs posted in the widows of the Collectable Arms and Ammo shows a picture of President Barack Obama with the words “Firearms Salesman of the Year”, while the second shows a picture of with Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong with the headline “All Experts Agree Gun Control Works”.
The shop’s owner, Keith Cox says it’s all about freedom of speech; Cox was also quick to point out since hanging the signs in his store windows he’s received a strong show of support from both his customers and those in the community.
Cox tells WMUR-TV he had plenty of reasons for posting the signs, “The idea was to draw attention to the store, but also make a statement as well”.
Though not everyone who’s seen the signs agrees with the messages, as Cox says he’s had at least one person walk into his store and express their distaste, calling them “offensive”
“To be brave enough to come in here and give us that opinion, and I told him that I’d respect his right to free speech my whole life and I would hope that he would also respect ours and protect ours as well”, Cox said.
Cox also said he’s started to receive calls from supporters across the country since news of his actions became published on the internet.
