Governor Hassan Declares A State Of Emergency In New Hampshire.

Concord,NH- On Friday Governor Maggie Hassan declared a State of Emergency in response to the storm which began early Friday morning and left some parts of the state with close to 30 inches of accumulation.
As of 5pm Friday afternoon the declaration went into effect allowing for Governor Hassan to mobilize the necessary assets and resources needed to aid residents across the state.
With the state under the declaration, the Governor also ordered that all vehicles be off the roads by 7pm allowing for crews to have plenty of time to manage the roads ahead of the heavier precipitation.
After making the declaration Friday afternoon Governor Hassan said," We have been closely monitoring the storm as it has strengthened, and the expected snow totals have now reached levels where a State of Emergency is needed to allow for the mobilization of additional resources and to access any federal assistance that may become available."
