Stoddard, NH- State police say a local man is dead following a logging accident which occurred Monday afternoon.

According to authorities two men were cutting trees on School Street in the early afternoon when a tree fell on 39-year- old Shannon Sarcione.

State Police say the other individual working with Sarcione was not injured nor did he directly witness the accident.
