Keene School District To Hold Public Hearing.



KEENE, NH- Following Saturday’s decision to not seek a Bond as part of the this year’s school budget residents get a second chance Tuesday night to voice their views on this year’s  Warrant articles.
The meeting which will take place in the auditorium of Keene High School will not only feature a discussion on the proposed $62.3 million dollar budget, but will also shed light on the status of the other listed articles.
As two of the articles listed relate to the operation of the Athletic Fund Trust and how to not only manage its revenues from advertising sales of fence space at Alumni Field but also how to apply private donations to that same fund.
Other articles listed focus on managing the School Building Maintenance Fund along with redistributing the sum of $250,000.00 from the sale of the district owned property at 34 West Street into the School Buildings Maintenance Fund, while taking the remaining balance of $177,500.00 to reduce taxes.
Tuesday’s public hearing is scheduled to get underway at 7pm.
