BEDFORD, NH- In a press conference Friday Police released a description of a suspect currently being sought by both Bedford and New Hampshire State Police for assaulting a couple during a home invasion this past Saturday which placed a couple in the hospital with serious injuries.
According to Bedford Chief John Bryfonski the suspect in question is 6 feet tall and at the time of the attack was wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing.
While Bryfonski openly admitted it’s still unclear if the attack was random or targeted, with that Bryonski also said he understands the frustrations felt by those in the community, saying “It’s not comforting for us here at Bedford PD, (and) it’s not comforting to State Police and certainly not comforting to the people of Bedford”.
In the meantime both Bedford and State Police will continue to follow all possible leads and urges residents to be mindful of their own safety and security. Saying that anyone feeling they might be in some sort of danger should contact 911 immediately.
