ORLANDO, FL- After spending the past 2 weeks on the run U.S Marshalls arrested a Plaistow couple wanted for abuse of the woman’s 3 year old son.
According to Marshalls 23 year old Jessica Lindscott and 27 year old Roland Dow were taking in one of the parades at Universal Studios and were arrested as the crowd watching scattered.
The couple went on the run after officials discovered the injuries Lindscott’s 3 year old son James endured were the result of abuse by the couple and not self-inflicted as the couple told hospital officials. Presently the boy remains in legal custody of the state and is being cared for at Children’s Hospital in Dartmouth, and just recently underwent a second brain surgery.
Once extradited back to New Hampshire from Florida,Lindscott will answer to multiple counts of child endangerment and Dow is set to face first and second degree assault charges.
In the meantime the couple is being held at the Orange County jail, as to when they’ll return to the Granite State to face those charges remains unclear. As neither has yet to waive extradition and even if they do, Rockingham County Attorney Jim Reams says,” even if they do it’ll still be sometime next week before their back in New Hampshire.”
