The Black Keys have settled copyright infringement lawsuits against Pizza Hut and The Home Depot marketing bosses over the alleged misuse of their music in TV ads.

Bandmates Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney claimed they had not given the ad executives permission to use samples of their hits "Lonely Boy" and "Gold on the Ceiling" in commercials and they launched legal action in June.

Attorneys for the duo informed the federal judge overseeing the case that his clients had settled with Pizza Hut on Monday. Auerbach and Carney reached a separate agreement with The Home Depot earlier this month.

The details of the settlements have not been disclosed, but both legal actions are expected to be officially dismissed by the beginning of 2013.
