JAFFREY, NH- 3 months following the abrupt cancelation of Jaffrey’s annual fireworks celebration Police have released an exact transcription of the original letter sent to officials which forced organizers to cancel the show this past summer.

While the actual letter itself still remains in police custody as part of an on-going investigation the information released also includes all spelling and syntax errors made in the original.

Police say the released this information in hopes of making progress in the investigation, but remind the public that anyone with information relevant to this case should contact Jaffrey Police as there’s also a $1000.00 reward being offered to those who can provide solid information leading to an arrest and conviction of those responsible.

The content of the letter which remains a focal point in the investigation has been posted below.

“TO ALL THE JAFFREY SELECTMEN AND ALL TOWN OFFICIALS

ALL OF YOU ARE IN YOUR HAPPY HOMES BUT SOME OF US ARE NOT IN OUR HAPPY HOMES BECAUSE OF YOUR POOR DECISIONS!!!! I MAY HAVE BEEN DISPLACED OUT OF YOUR HAPPY TOWN BUT I WILL BE JOINING YOU ON YOUR HAPPY DAY!!!

THERE WILL BE MORE “BOOMS” THAN JUST IN THE SKY AT THIS YEAR’S “FESTIVAL OF FIREWORK”!!

I HAVE A LOT MORE TIME ON MY HANDS SINCE I HAVE NO JOB OR HOME ANYMORE BUT I HAD A LITTLE STASH TO INVEST AND WITH MY EXTENSIVE MILITARY TRAINING I WILL BE STTING OFF MY OWN “FIREWORKS” DISPLAY ON SATURDAY AND IT WILL NOT BE A CROWD PLEASER TO ALL YOUR FUN FESTIVAL GOERS WHO ARE THERE!

TO THE JAFFREY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

PLEASE LET ALL YOUR PEOPLE WHO WILL BE ATTENDING THIS JOYOUS EVENT TO BE ON GUARD, NO ONE WILL KNOW IF THEY ARE IN MY DANGER ZONE OF MY FIREWORKS DISPLAY.

I APOLOGIZE BUT LOOK AT THIS WAY ON SUNDAY MORNING JAFFREY WILL GET ALL THE RECOGNITION IT DESERVES!! THE NEWS ALWAYS REPORTS THE HORRIBLE TRAJIC EVENT AND NOT THE GOOD!

TO JAFFREY FIRE DEPARTMENT

I AM SORRY OF THE SCENE WILL ARRIVE ON SATURDAY AS THEIR WILL BE A LOT OF BLOOD, PERHAPS SOME DISMEMBERED BODIES AND MOST LIKELY MULTIPLE DEATHS. I KNOW THIS MAY MESS YOU UP TO WITNESS AND I AM SORRY BUT THANK YOUR TOWN LEADERS!
