MAN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH KEENE STATE ROBBERY.



KEENE, NH- A Keene man is in Police custody in connection with 2 separate incidents that occurred early Saturday morning.  As police say 22 year old Justin Robinson of Wetmore St has been charged with armed robbery and reckless conduct.
Early Saturday morning Police responded to a Winchester street home after they received reports of an altercation where a black hand gun was displayed, by the time Police arrived the suspect had fled on foot but police were able to get a description of a White Male with blonde hair, no shirt wearing Blue jeans and an “Old style “Boston Bruins goaltenders mask.
A short time later a group of Keene State College students were walking near the Student Center and Dinning Commons when they were approached by the suspect who demanded one of the student’s sweatshirts at gun point. Once Police received the report of the second incident hours later Keene State was then put in lock down till later in the morning.

During that time Keene Police utilized its K-9 unit to conduct a search of the area along with aid from New Hampshire State Police, Chesterfield and Swanzey Police departments.
Police say they eventually located the suspect at his home later in the afternoon and placed him under arrest,as result he is currently being held at the Cheshire County House of Corrections until Monday when he’s scheduled to appear before a judge in Keene’s Eighth Circuit Court.
