LONDON, ENGLAND- A Franklin Pierce University Graduate student is recovering after she and another woman were hit by a car in London.

23 year old Amy Werner of West Dover Vermont was walking with another woman when the pair was hit by an elderly driver. After the accident Werner was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, where she remains with her parents by her side.  

As for the other woman with Werner at the time of the accident, officials say she died due to injuries sustained in the accident.
