KEENE, NH- On Tuesday November 13th SAU 29 School board will hold a public hearing prior to its regular meeting on the sale of the former administrative building located at 34 West Street.
According to SAU 29 business manager John Harper, the district recently accepted an offer from Riley Investments of $ 450,000 for the building,
Despite being lower than the 2 previous offers made on the building of $ 525,000 Harper seems confident about the sale becoming a reality. In an interview with WKBK Harper said “This is an offer that’s a little bit less money, but I think has a better chance of closing, and we’d be looking to close in mid-December.”
As for what Riley Investments have in store for the building that has yet to be revealed. Those wishing to take part in the hearing are invited to the high school Tuesday evening beginning at 6:30pm.
