KEENE, NH- A Keene man is in police custody after officials say he allegedly forced his way into the apartment of an elderly woman demanding money and property.

Police say 38 year old Ethan D. Adams forced his way into the apartment of an 81 year old woman, after a brief struggle which left the woman injured, Adams fled on foot once he found out she had nothing to take.

After a search of a nearby neighborhood police found a man matching the description given by the victim, who was identified as Adams. The man was placed under arrest and charged with a single count of felony burglary.

 According to police, not only did Adams match the description given by the victim, he also was on parole for a 2010 robbery and was in violation of his mandated curfew.
