KEENE, NH- As the city of Keene prepares to demolish the Latchis Theater building, look for some changes to occur when it comes to accessing nearby Federal Street and the parking lot off Lamson Street.
Starting on Tuesday October 9th Keene Police will close off Lamson street and a few parking spaces in the adjacent lot until Friday October 12th in order to assist demolition crews in meeting all safety requirements. While the parking lot connected to Lamson Street will remain opened to the public during this time, excluding the small number of spaces closed off by the project.
During this time the Chief of Police has enacted a special regulation which will open Federal Street to two-way traffic as of October 10th until October 12th between the hours of 7am and 5pm; in the process prohibiting parking either side of Federal Street.
