DERRY, NH-Making his second visit to the state in two weeks, Republican Vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan held a rally at Pinkerton Academy Saturday morning.
Speaking to a crowd of just about 700 or so supporters Ryan not only spoke about energy but also education and the economy, in the process shedding light on some of the short comings of the Obama administration. Telling the crowd, that the president’s economic agenda has failed not because it was blocked but, because “It was passed”, Ryan then said “All these promises were made on the idea of hope and change, and it sounded pretty good,” Ryan then told the crowd “ The ideas were old ideas, that have failed time and time again”.
Once Ryan finished showcasing the low points of the current administration, he started to explain the differences between the President and his running mate, GOP nominee Mitt Romney. Ryan went on to say “We need leadership to get this country back on track…and that leader is Mitt Romney, and that man is gonna get our country back on the right track.” Ryan then added “President Obama has become the problem and Mitt Romney is the solution.”
