Beyonce, Carole King to join Alicia Keys at Black Ball



Beyonce and Carole King will headline Alicia Key' ninth annual Black Ball concert in New York on 1 November.

The Hammerstein Ballroom event, which will be hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, will honor Oprah Winfrey and Angelique Kidjo, who will also perform.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit charities working on behalf of the children and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.
