Keene Middle Schools Holds It's Dedication Ceremony



KEENE,NH-  Residents this weekend  got to witness the dedication of Keene's brand new middle school.
On Saturday Principal Dorothy Frazier welcomed members of the community to the schools brand new 933 seat auditorium. The mornings event began with a student led Pledge of Allegiance and  rendition of the Star - Spangled Banner performed by former members of the KMS Chorale.
Among those who spoke during the morning's ceremonies were SAU 29 Superintendent Wayne Woolridge, State Senator Molly Kelly, School Board Chair Christopher Coates along with Building Committee Chairwoman Liz Coppola and Mayor Kendall Lane.
The morning's dedication was capped off with the unveiling of a plaque listing all the names of those involved in making the $ 36,700,000 project a reality. Afterwards tours of the building were given by students, who along with teachers onsite explained to the public just how new advancements in technology such as the aid of Tablet and Laptop computers and interactive "Eno boards" are being combined with core educational values  to help usher in a new era in education in Keene.
