Back To Business As Usual At Keene's City Hall



KEENE, NH- As summer winds down look for business at City Hall to pick up again as tonight as Municipal Services, Facilities and Infrastructure Committee and Planning, Licenses and Development Committee meet for the first time since late July.
On the Agenda for Municipal Services, Facilities and Infrastructure tonight, the question of where to place a donated tree from the Keene High School Interact Club as some wish to see the Liberty Elm on the Main/Marlborough/Winchester Street Roundabout; but members of the Public Works Department have raised the question of possible damage to underground utilities at the rotatory.
While the Planning, Licenses and Development Committee will undertake the task of figuring out if a late night Peddler can extend his hours of operation. Also on the agenda, a discussion between the City attorney and City clerk on the possibility of consolidating certain committees in order to save the city time and money.
