KEENE,NH- Numerous spectators braved the heat and humidity to witness crews completing construction on the North Bridge.
The 2.3 million dollar project, which has been the subject of much debate over its naming process,had its final pieces put in place Sunday afternoon and took of less than 20 minutes to secure.
Over the course of the day people watched from both sides of the bypass as workers approached the final steps in the project, which was completed a little after 3:30 in the afternoon. Once in place the crowd cheered and applauded; among those watching in person were Keene City Councilor Mitchell H. Greenwald and North Bridge project proponent John Summers.
