KEENE, NH- On Thursday evening City Council voted to fill the seat once held by Charles H. Redfern. His successor is David Curran of Prescott Street. Curran beat out 2 candidates, Gregory Pregent and David Crawford, for the City Council seat.
Curran is no stranger to community affairs. He served several years on the City’s Planning Board and is the founder of the South East Keene Neighborhood Group.
After being sworn in by Mayor Lane; Curran was assigned to the Planning, Licenses, and Development Committee. When asked if he has any desire to run again once this 18 month term is over, Curran said “It’s a little early and I’d have to think about that, but let’s get through the first eighteen months.”
