Justin Bieber writes for Selena Gomez's album

Pop star Justin Bieber is making sweet music with his girlfriend Selena Gomez after writing a song for her new album.

The "Baby" hitmaker is reportedly penning and producing tracks for the singer/actress' upcoming release, which is scheduled to hit shelves next year.

The couple's musical collaboration was announced by Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, who heard a sneak preview of the track earlier this month.

will.i.am tells Canada's New Music Live, "(Bieber) taps me on the shoulder... 'Yo, I want to show you this song I produced and wrote. I'm really excited about it because it's one of the first songs I produced by myself.'"

"The song was dope (good). He was like, 'Yeah, I wrote it for Selena.' It's great... And it was really awesome. It was, like, really, really dope... I think that guy is gonna be around for a really, really long time."
