Madonna reignites 'Born This Way' spat with Lady Gaga

Madonna has taken a fresh swipe at Lady Gaga, insisting she "helped" to write hit track "Born This Way."

Gaga sparked controversy when she released the song last year as several critics noticed similarities with Madonna's 1989 single "Express Yourself."

The "Material Girl" later admitted she also heard a resemblance between the two songs, and she is currently performing a cheeky mash-up of the two tracks on her MDNA tour dates.

Now she has taken another sly swipe at the "Poker Face" star.

Speaking on a Brazilian TV show, Madonna says, "I'm a really big fan of ('Born This Way'). I'm glad that I helped Gaga write it."
