Chris Young evacuated from burning tour buss

Chris Young jumped into action in North Carolina last week to extinguish a fiery blaze that broke out on his tour bus.

The star was heading to a gig in Charlotte on Friday night when his manager ran onto the vehicle and ordered Young and his crew to evacuate as quickly as possible.

A few minutes later, the bus burst into flames and Young admits they were lucky to escape unscathed.

He tells CountryWeekly.com, "It was about five seconds from being in flames. There was smoke coming out of the back of it, and it was red. We put it out with a fire extinguisher. Thank God we did."

Young isn't the only musician to experience a frightening tour bus fire this year - Randy Houser and Lee Brice have all suffered similar accidents in recent months.
