Miranda Lambert finds homes for six rescue puppies

Animal-loving country star Miranda Lambert has taken to Twitter to thank fans for adopting a litter of six puppies she found abandoned in Oklahoma.

The "House That Built Me" hitmaker has developed a reputation as a dog rescuer as of late, with the singer herself taking in a handful of homeless pets so far this year.

She stumbled upon her latest find at a nearby daycare facility, where a family of newborns had been dumped by its previous owner.

Lambert snatched them up and partnered with the MuttNation Foundation on Monday to find them good homes, posting photos of each of the pups on her official website.

Her fans came out in force and all of her furry friends had been adopted after just one day, prompting the Grammy winner to reach out to her followers and express her gratitude for the overwhelming support.

On Tuesday, she tweeted, "Update! we are happy to say, all the puppies have found new homes! We are amazed at the response we received! Muttnation thanks u (sic) so much!... If you werent (sic) able to get one of these sweet angels..please visit your local shelter! Don't forget..love a shelter pet! Y'all rock!"
