Will.i.am has reached out to Britney Spears via Twitter to tempt her into collaborating.

The pop star took to the microblogging site on Tuesday to declare her love for the Black Eyed Peas frontman's new single "This Is Love," which features Dutch singer Eva Simons.

She told her 18.2 million followers, "Love love love (will.i.am's) new single This Is Love! Go get it y'all," and shared a link to a download site."

The rapper was thrilled with the praise, and sparked up a virtual exchange by inviting the "Toxic" hitmaker to join him in the recording studio.

He tweeted, "Britney Spears thanks for the love and support... Eva Simons is amazing... we should all do something together..."
