R&B star Chris Brown showed fans a nasty facial cut which he reportedly sustained in a fight with rapper Drake on Wednesday night.

The singer's trip to New York's WIP nightclub allegedly ended in a hospital visit after a member of Drake's entourage threw a bottle at him and sliced open his chin.

The scuffle is said to have started after Brown sent Champagne to Drake's table, only for the hip-hop star to return it with a rude note referencing Rihanna, who they have both dated.

According to gossip website MediaTakeOut.com, Brown then confronted Drake and was hit in the face with a bottle after a scuffle broke out between the two stars' camps.

The Kiss Kiss hitmaker took to his Twitter.com page to share a photo of the bloody wound on his chin, but later removed it.

He also tweeted, "How u party wit rich n**** that hate? Lol... Throwing bottles like girls? shame on ya (sic)!"

Brown and Rihanna broke up after their vicious bust-up in 2009, and the Umbrella singer was subsequently linked to Drake. (PAW/WNWCSU/ZN)
